Next we visited Sir M Visvesvaraya’s house which is
20 KM far from Ghati Subramanya around 12.30 PM which is
now a museum for public in Muddenahalli. House of this genius
(modern Karnataka architect) of itself is a great inspiration
for all human beings.
We had our lunch on the way to Nandi Hills in a restaurant
around 1:30pm. After spending some time in the restaurant,
we proceeded uphill.
The narrow and winding road has nearly 48 curves and the
drive is truly enjoyable. We reached the hill top by 3.30
PM.
Note: Nandi Hills is also known as Nandidurga,
it was one of the summer retreats of Tipu Sultan.
Nandi Hills was popular with the British too who built bungalows
and laid out gardens here.
The 1478-m high Nandi Hills is the originating point of
many rivers.
Tipu's Drop, situated in Nandi Hills is a 600m high cliff
face.

We returned to our vehicle to have tea and snacks. Wondering
as why inside the Vehicle!! That’s because all of
us were scared of monkeys grabbing our favorite snacks.
It was almost 5.15pm and still did not feel like leaving
without playing games. We chose a place where we were surrounded
by bushes and trees and decided to play a game. We enjoyed
to the core during this game and were forced to leave the
place as it was getting dark.
We also got some gyan about ourselves based on our birth
dates as Sir gave us tips on Numerology. The whole trip
was the first trip ever from IQTI; the most exciting one
and a memorable one that we were able to know each other
more, enjoyed. While returning we were planning for a next
trip.
Our sincerely thanks to, Mr. Balchandani, Mrs Balchandani,
